Every Single Everything
Take all of the complexity of the singular
Cleave it right down the middle
The finest of cuts
The masterfully bifurcated thought of us
Like a lotus, one’s heart must fully open
to detect this perfect seem
In the binary proposition
We find formulas of duality
Man plus woman and woman added to man
A sequence of numbers
That joins my idea to yours
So that it can be held
The poet suggests to the mathematician
Let’s replace numbers with words
And summon Fibonacci to make us over!
Earth into fire creates air
Fire into air makes light
The sequence takes itself over...
...into fern into mouse into mongoose into man into mountain into
Moonlight
Truth disguised as words
And words as hidden numbers
It is the self-discovery which drives the math
A catalyzed attraction
To form the aggregates
in synaptic rhythm
Solid masses are made, to compare
And in that juxtaposition, Observer creates again
Same or/but/and different
In a moment of equal measure
Until inequality renews the invitation
To touch
Every
Single
Everything
