My Lost Tattoo

I own a tattoo somewhere

it seems from the Venmo 

but I cannot find it

it seems like it may be lost

I wonder what it was

before it was born

not after

Was it always lines

and color of not skin?

Or was it of God

Like me

Does it know it is a vast ocean

within itself?

And made of the eyes of a bumblebee

with soft fur on a body sometimes, but not always

too heavy to fly?

I see through my lenses 

into deep fathoms of longing 

to live the only life this bumblebee-ocean in flight wants

Do not worry 

even this I forget sometimes too
