Liminal

When the time comes

I will pour my heart out

into another, one other

dissolving

on the way

such that when I arrive

into the space of him

I find only stars

where once was flesh

An omnilusterous state of

being

each

I go beyond that

and find feelings of being us

you, and you, and you

and on like that until

the moment of knowing

I exist

becomes a fraction of a moment

and on like that until

pieces of time

find their place as something else

unimagined

When time becomes something else

We must as well

The hour becomes a soul

The minute, the fire of your spirit

The second, the love of your life

Light it up until nothing exists

And everything is luminous and new
