Reiki is a Japanese Healing and Spiritual Art Form which is used to raise one's frequency. The form is taught through a series of courses, practices and symbols that marshal Universal Life Force energy. It can be used for healing the physical, mental and emotional bodies, and brings one into a state of resonance with higher energy.
In this class, you will:
Become certified in Reiki I and II within the Usui Lineage
Learn the Reiki symbols for Reiki I and II Practitioners
Learn about the Subtle Energy System including Chakras, Nadis, Meridians, Yin and Yang
Learn how to feel and see the Subtle Energy System of yourself and your client
Learn how to see and read Auric Fields to gather information beneficial to your client
Learn how Biofield Imaging captures the frequencies and amplitudes of the Auric Field so that you may work with your clients with greater precision in your communication in any Healing Art

In the Usui System of Natural Healing, we use the "Art of Reiki" to improve our health and energy system, and we learn how to heal our own and others' energy bodies. Reiki works on the same principles as acupuncture, tai chi, qi gong and Tibetan Medicine. It can be given as a hands-on therapy or sent as distance healing. The student in these courses will learn a simple and elegant system which allows for the channeling of Reiki energy with amplification.
In this weekend, I will be certifying practitioners in Reiki I and II through the Art of Reiki Collective, a fellowship of Reiki Masters and Reiki Master Teachers who are professionals in the Energetic Healing Arts.
In Reiki I and II, you will learn the symbols as traditionally taught by Dr. Usui, and passed along to Takata Sensei. These are sacred symbols that work with the subtle energy body. These practices have been handed from teacher to student in an unbroken lineage since 1922. The symbols themselves originated in Sanskrit texts. Part of your training involves an “attunement” to the symbols from a Master from within the lineage of Dr. Usui. This attunement is an empowerment, and allows for one to use the Reiki energy at an amplified rate. One can use the symbols without the attunement, but the amplification that occurs with the attunement allows the power of the lineage to work through your energy body through your hands and heart, and the increase in power is measurable in hertz.
Reiki is both a healing modality and a spiritual tradition. As such, we think of it as a creative expression or Art form. Nevertheless, it is used at most top hospitals, including The Cleveland Clinic, the Mayo Clinic, Boston Children’s Hospital, Mayo Clinic, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center among many others.
This course is perfect for you if you have previously studied Reiki, or another Healing Art, or feel called to learn Reiki at this time.
We will meet Friday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm. Saturday will be from 9 am to 6 pm.
Sunday will be from 9 am to Noon. We will have an optional celebratory lunch Sunday after class to honor your work and award the certificates.

Kim ("Kimla") Desrosiers
Kim, also referred to as “Kimla” by Buddhist students, shares awareness and energy practices learned from Tibetan Buddhist masters and indigenous healers in Tibet, India, China, the United States, and on A:shiwi tribal land. Through decades of study, practice, facilitation, and teaching of energy modalities including Reiki, Highest Yoga Tantra, Mahāmudrā, Dzogchen, Sleep and Dream Yoga, and Psionics (e.g., spoon bending), she blends her consciousness with unconditional love. She is a Reiki Master Teacher within the Usui and Holy Fire lineages, and one of the founders of the Art of Reiki Collective.
Kim has taught internationally at Tibet House US, Karmê Chöling, The Monroe Institute, and at corporations and Buddhist organizations throughout the world.
